My mic is not working. Its time to get a better one anyway, perhaps a condensor this time around.

Anyway i didn't blog about the Chelsea game, so i'll write up something quick now....

I managed to bring back a few Cashley Cunt notes, holla if you want one. I'm proud to be an Arsenal fan. After all the 'highbury library' bs, people generally think that the Arsenal fans are reserved, quiet etc. Well i watched a repeat telecast of the match and can confirm that at least 70 percent of the songs you hear during the match originate from the Arsenal fans.

"You're shit, and your wife's a slut."

That's sung in the tune of 'Go west'. I don't know about slut, but i have to admit that Cheryl Tweedy is pretty hot. Doesn't change the fact that her husband is a money grabbing idiot.

I was directly in line with the ball when Essien struck it, if we had to drop two points this is the way i would want us to do it. I don't wanna see no Drogba-off-the-shin goals.. Thankfully the goals i saw were all of reasonable quality, with Essien's as the obvious outstanding one due to its sheer quality.

Time for a recap...

I watched 4 matches, and i witnessed

12 goals
2 red cards
2 21-man 'brawls'
3 penalties

Arsenal
Lehmann, Eboue, Djorou, Sendoras, Kolo Toure, Clichy, Gilberto, Rosicky, Hleb, Ljungberg, Flamini, Baptista, Van Persie, Walcott, Adebayor

Chelsea
Hilario, Cole, Terry, Carvalho, Geremi, Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Makelele, Robben, Wright-Phillips, Shevchenko, Drogba

Tottenham
Robinson, Chimbonda, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Dawson, King, Lee Young Pyo, Lennon, Malbranque, Tanio, Zokora, Jenas, Murphy, Berbatov, Defoe

Middlesbrough
Schwarzer, Huth, Pogatetz, Taylor, Woodgate, Xavier, Boateng, Downing, Cattermole, Malcolm Christie, Yakubu, Viduka

These are the teams and players i saw play on the pitch.

I'm not too familiar of the Championship players so i can't list the teams, especially the Preston North End players lol. However there were a few players of note in the Birmingham team.

Matthew Upson, Jaidi, Muamba, Sebastian Larsson, Bentdner, Shepperly

Refs of note, Alan Wiley, Graham Poll, Mike Riley.

Overall....... yeahhh

Birmingham City 3 - 1 Preston North End

I'm happy for my Dad and Aunt, they were genuinely happy at today's result, but of course happiness only exists in the moment, after the match from our analysis, we arrived at the conclusion that Birmingham came away with a score line that flattered them.

Anyway, tomorrow is the big day. I'm hoping to get some of the Cashley 20 pound notes, they will be a great souveneir.

Meanwhile......

Weather today was really cold. I'm looking forward to chilling under the 'pit block' when i get back.

On a slightly venemous note................

I know i'm needed, don't act as if otherwise

Aight, i'm done
We left London today for Birmingham. We'll be heading back Sunday morning to catch the chelski match no worries.

We headed to St Andrew's to get tickets for Birmingham vs Preston, top of the table clash for the coca kola division

Headed to my Aunt's house to receive news that a tornado/typhoon ripped certain parts of London.... North West London to be specific and thats where we were staying...

Anyway.........................

Lol

Just returned from Spurs vs Boro... After being accustomed to watching attractive football the quality of the football in this match didnt seem like anything special.

Spurs fans just proved that they had no lives... singing demeaning songs about Arsenal when you'd think they'd be more concerned about whats going on in their own yard.

And being in the presence of 38 000 spurs fans.. i kept my counsel once more. Damn.

Bless the boro fans though, singing

'3-0 to the Arsenal'

Oh yeah on top of all that we were sitting next to a bunch of drunk yobs. It was rather entertaining.
so far i've made a couple of observations that are funny yet sad.. i'll say more later.

Meanwhile last night we went to Chelsea.. Had dinner at a pub there and my father conversed with another man there

Father : Do you know where Stamford Bridge is? We're from Singapore and we got tickets for the Arsenal game

Man : Have you really? Stamford Bridge is down the road...blah blah

Father : Thank you, well, Arsenal really need to win this game haven't they.

Man : I'll tell you something, Arsenal don't have to win any game.

Being in a Chelsea pub, i decided to keep my counsel.

Anyway we got tickets for Tottenham vs Boro... it was never going to sell out so availibility wasn't a problem. We got shit seats though, near the corner flag, so if you watch the highlights and a corner is taken near us you'll see us on Tv lol.

Outside the Emirates Stadium on Friday

2nd pic is me in the stadium way too early on Saturday before the match lol

Cesc receiving the best U-21 player award. In the second we see Lehmann at his athletic best

Me at the room used for press conferences, I'm sitting where Arsene Wenger does. This was taken today during our tour around the majestic stadium

VIP seating area yo

What a shop

Man of the moment

Last night we went to a pub again.

However the situation was rectified.

There was a no-smoking area.. and they had bangers and mash. good stuff.

And then we went to a comedy club, where there were 3 stand up comedians performing.(check it mal)

I've uploaded a load of photos to photobucket..i'll get it on this blog soon

meanwhile

Last night i made 2 stupid decisions

My father left the decision of where to eat for dinner up to me.

stupid decision 1 : I chose a pub

EVERYONE THERE WAS SMOKING

goddamn did it make my lungs itch... but nahh its cool i've not found it a problem without cigs so far, just that last night kinda made me wish i had a more liberal father lol.. but hey this is the same dude that spent 5 times the amount getting ticks for these 2 massive matches so i wouldn't change a thing. I'm a lucky mofo.

But i chose a pub cos i wanted some traditional English pub food... Bangers and Mash is the dish i wanted but nope they ran out of it... anyway my father asked me what i wanted to drink

stupid decision 2 : I ordered a pint of Guinness

Now there's nothing wrong in that decision itself, but over the past two years i've been accustomed to drinking AND smoking at the same time. The taste of beer didn't help me all too much all in all.

ahhh well

its all good in the hood

I took her in my arms, and looked deep into her spectacles

Advertisement for contact lenses i saw on the london tube, thought it was pretty funny

What a time i've had the last 2 days

First the collection of the tickets yesterday..followed by us watching 'The changing of the Guards' at Buckingham palace. We stood in the rain for 20 mins, hoping to get a glimpse of the queen but the lazy bitch was probably having a lie-in. Still we witnessed the guards marching etc

Dinner was good.. Gammon steak followed by cheesecake..great stuff

My father toured me around the Red light district.. the nightlife in England revolves heavily around pubs, and their popularity seems to far exceed that of clubs.

Saw3 threatened to waste my father's expenditure on dinner, even by its own standard it was rather grisly, and yes i highly enjoyed Saw3, always been a fan of its series. I'll threaten to spoil the plot for anyone who's also a fan of Saw but unable to watch it due to Singapore's ridiculous censorship policies.

That was yesterday....

Today, well was spent in anticipation of what was to happen at 12 45 pm. We idled the morning away and left the hotel around 11 am, reached the stadium at 1130 or so. Were one of the first few people in the stadiums.. we were left admiring the magnificient turf and stadium whilst waiting for the players to appear for warm-up.

Tottenham goalies came out of the tunnel first met by jeers from the Arsenal faithfull.

Well, i'm not going to go into every detail but i'll say that the match was fantastic. Atmosphere was amazing, overwhelming.

Needless to say Tottenham were ripped to shreds (saw style). 3-0.. last 2 goals were penalties so i managed to get them recorded on my phone.

Bring on the Chavs
